BaseWeight: 0.07kg • BaseSell (unripe @ base weight): 28 • single/common

×1

Scale from ×1.0 to ×3.0 (0.1 steps).

Mutations

Stacking rule: each mutation is a multiplier (e.g. ×1.5). Multiple mutations stack like: effective = (Σmult) − (count) + 1 (so 1.5 + 1.5 → 2.0×).

How to get mutations

Weather → Mutations:

  • Use appraisal to get a random mutation!
  • Admin: → Meteoric(10×), Banned(20×), Salad(20×)
  • Starfall → Starstruck • Sandstorm → Sandy • Storm → Shocked
  • Snow → Chilled / Snowy / Frost bit • Rain → Soaked / Flooded • Fog → Foggy

Mutation combos:

  • Mossy (×3.5) = Foggy + Chilled
  • Frostbit (×3.5) = Chilled + Snowy
  • Muddy (×5.0) = Sandy + Flooded (does not work with Soaked)

Result

Carrot • 0.07kg • WeightFactor: (0.07 / 0.07)² = 1.00 • Ripeness ×1 • Variant ×1 • Mutations: none (×1)

28

Value = 28 × (0.07 / 0.07)² × 1 × 1 × 1.00

Garden Horizons Value Calculator

This calculator estimates Garden Horizons sell value using the community-known rules: per-plant quadratic weight scaling ((weight / baseweight)²), plus ripeness, color variants, and mutation stacking. It's a fanmade tool inside the Grow a Garden calculator ecosystem.

How the math works

  • Base sell: Uses the plant's sellUnripe at its baseweight.
  • Weight factor: (weight / baseweight)² (Quadratic scaling).
  • Ripeness multipliers:
    • Unripe: ×1
    • Ripened: ×2
    • Lush: ×3
  • Variant multipliers:
    • None: ×1
    • Silver: ×2
    • Gold: ×5
  • Mutations: Uses an additive stacking multiplier (see right).

Mutations (stacking rule)

Formula: mutationMultiplier = (Σ mutationMultipliers) − (count) + 1

Example: two ×1.5 mutations → (1.5 + 1.5) − 2 + 1 = ×2.0

Multiplier contribution (stacks additively via sum − count + 1)

How to Use Garden Horizons Calculator

Step 1 – Enter Garden Area

Input your current garden area in square feet. This serves as the baseline for all calculations.

Step 2 – Set Expansion Zones

Define the additional space you plan to add. The calculator will compute the total area and potential yield improvements.

Step 3 – Estimate Long-Term Growth

Adjust growth multipliers based on your gardening conditions and see projected yields over time.

Tips for Optimizing Garden Horizons

Maximize Growth with Layout Planning

Strategic garden layout significantly impacts yield. Consider sunlight direction, water access, and plant height when planning your expansion.

Combine Pet Boosts and Fertilizer

Using growth-boosting pets alongside proper fertilization can dramatically increase your garden's productivity. Check our fertilizer calculator for optimal application rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are values calculated?
Values are calculated using a combination of your current area, expansion zone, growth multipliers, sunlight hours, and spacing options. The formula accounts for optimal growing conditions.
Do codes expire?
Yes, some codes have expiration dates. We recommend redeeming codes as soon as possible to ensure you receive the rewards.
Can I use the calculator with multiple gardens?
Absolutely! Simply calculate each garden separately and add up the results for a total overview of your gardening potential.
